Australia: A Northern Territory drink driver was apprehended literally “on the spot” last night, after crashing into the Tennant Creek police station.
Police say the 44-year-old driver and his female passenger were not injured when the car crashed into the station at about 2.30am (ACST).
Officers say the man recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.173 per cent which is nearly 4 times the allowed level.
There has no structural damage to the station, and the man has been charged with multiple traffic offences.
