SHE once vowed she’d rather be hit by a train than tie the knot again.
But times change and Madonna, 53, is said to be seriously considering a proposal from her toyboy lover Brahim Zaibat, 24.
Insiders claim she is “making up her mind” after the dancer popped the question in New York three weeks ago.
According to sources, he proposed at the city’s Kabbalah centre – the headquarters of the Jewish sect to which she belongs.
But the Queen of Pop is said to be wary of making such a big commitment after failed marriages to Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie.
One source said: “She doesn’t want to rush into anything. She is very happy with Brahim, although her friends aren’t sure she’s ready for marriage again. That said, Madonna has a real fear of being on her own.
“It’s a major issue for her, and she loves having a man in her life who is young and makes her feel young.”
Madge and Brahim have been dating since last September after meeting when he performed at the launch of her new clothing range at a New York store.
He has even introduced his Vogue legend girlfriend to mum Patricia Vidal, 45, a strict Muslim who lives in France.
Patricia admitted: “My mouth dropped open when I realised that my son was Madonna’s new boyfriend. I’m still trying to come to terms with it.”
She is also said to be wary of Brahim’s frequent visits to Kabbalah meetings – as well as the couple’s 29-year age gap.
In a recent TV interview with Graham Norton, Madonna said: “Every girl likes to think Mr Right is going to come along and sweep us off our feet.”
